jessejump started after I successfully trained my dog Jesse, to weave using some poles I made, using a spike inserted in one end, which supports the pole when pushed into the ground. This enabled me to stagger the poles and angle them, see my training tips page. Other members of my club were astonished at Jesse’s over night improvement and wanted “ basic weave poles” of their own.
I went on to develop the removable spike system, firstly for safety in transit and also to allow the poles to be used in a semi permanent base. The “deluxe weave set” was born.
Finally I used the same design to make lightweight jump hurdles, great for taking down the park, and with the deluxe base they will also sit on the patio.
